Successful Subrogation Level I:
An Online Course for Restoration Contractors

Successful Subrogation I is an online course designed for restoration contractors and should be part of every insurance company’s direct property repair program.  Each course contains a course text, webinar and Online Final Exam.  Participants attend a webinar, take an online final exam, and after successfully passing the final exam, a certificate of completion will be sent by mail to the participant within 2 weeks.  The course text consists of two modules entitled:

  • Module One: The Importance of Subrogation
  • Module Two: Subrogation Recognition

The goal of this course is to teach restoration contractors what to do when they are on a scene following a loss so that subrogation potential is not destroyed. This course takes approximately 3 hours to complete. (2 hours for the webinar, 60 minutes for the final exam – 24 questions)

Earn 2 hours of IICRC continuing education credits. 

Successful Subrogation Level II:
An Online Course for Restoration Contractors

Successful Subrogation II is an online course designed for restoration contractors and should be part of every insurance company’s direct property repair program.  Each course contains a course text, webinar and Online Final Exam.  Successful Subrogation I: A Course for Restoration Contractors is a prerequisite for this course. Participants attend a webinar, take an online final exam, and after successfully passing the final exam, a certificate of completion will be sent by mail to the participant within 2 weeks.  The course text consists of two modules entitled:

  • Module One: Technical Aspects of Subrogation
  • Module Two: Documenting the Scene and Perfecting the Recovery

The goal of this course is to make restoration contractors more successful in identifying and taking steps to perfect the subrogation recovery.  All taking this course will learn how to properly document a loss scene (diagram and photograph) and to identify and preserve information that is critical to the insurer’s subrogation effort. This course takes approximately 3 hours to complete. (2 hours for the webinar, 60 minutes for the final exam – 22 questions)

 Earn 2 hours of IICRC continuing education credits. 

Other Details

Other Details: Upon registering for course, an email with course text, manual and link for the webinar will be emailed to the registration email provided. Webinar will start at time above, please verify webinar link works prior to class. If you miss more than 15 minutes of class, you will need to attend another webinar. 

Final Exam: After the webinar is completed, you will be emailed a link to the final exam. In order to take the final exam, you will need to register for an account. The final exam consists of 24 questions and a passing exam score is 80%. You will have 2 hours and 3 attempts to pass the final exam. If you fail the exam 3 times, you will need to attend another webinar before you can take the exam again. You will have 14 days to complete the exam from the end of the webinar. 

Course Certificate: After passing the exam, you will receive your certificate of completion directly from Claims Training Services (CTS) via mail within 2 weeks. CTS also keeps a record of completions, if duplicate course certificates are needed, please contacts Claims Training Services at https://www.claimstraining.com/

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled 22 or more days from start of event, a $15 cancellation fee will be charged. If cancelled within 21 days of event start, a $25 cancellation fee applies. If cancelled within 7 days of event, no refund will be given. Remediation Training Institute, LLC Reserves the right to cancel with 5 days notice prior to event start. If class is cancelled, full refunds will be made for registration fee.

Licensing: Claims Training Services (CTS) Successful Subrogation Courses as required by Insurance Companies, Program and Third-party Administrators. Course is all web-based and taught by RTC (Remediation Training & Consulting) under license from CTS. Certificates will be issued directly through CTS.
